Use the Waterlox Tung Oil products in combination to achieve a waterproof, penetrating, organic, and food safe finish that is perfect for everyday use surfaces like a wood island top. Use Craft Art's private label Board Refresh mineral oil for high functioning surfaces such as chopping blocks, butcherblocks, and cutting boards.
Waterlox Sealer/Finish and Waterlox Satin Finish make your top waterproof and food safe. Get one of each and be ready to follow the detailed finishing instructions we send along with your DIY order. In total, you will need 3 coats worth of the Sealer/Finish and one coat worth of the Satin Finish for most projects. Coverage is detailed on product pages.
Craft-Art Board
Refresh is specialized mineral oil wood care for butcher blocks, cutting boards,
wooden utensils and bowls. Our penetrating food grade mineral oil along with the
water-resistant traits of beeswax and carnauba wax restores wood and prevents
drying and cracking. Coverage is approximately eight square feet for one coat
per 4 oz. bottle.
